The Piper Aerostar (PA-61) built by Piper Aircraft (originally built byTed Smith Aircraft Company) is a twin-engined propeller-driven executive respectively light transport aircraft. It was manufactured in different versions: The initial production (PA-61-600) with two Lycoming engines, a version with turbocharged engines (PA-61-601) and some versions with minor changes regarding power of engine or increased gross weight.
The PA-61-602P is a pressurized version of the 601.
