The Beechcraft 1900 is manufactured by the Beechcraft Division of the Raytheon Company (now Hawker Beechcraft). It was primarily designed and used as a regional airliner. But it is also used as a freight aircraft or for corporate transport, as well as by the United States military and other governments.

The airplane could carry 19-passengers, it is a pressurized twin-engine turboprop, designed to use relatively short runaways. It is one of the most popular airliners in history.
